In my samples, Lewis acid partially increased and became constant with reducing aluminum amounts while Bronsted acid increased with decreasing Al values. My samples are mesoporous materials.
that I know, The Brønsted/Lewis acid synergy in dealuminated because Al as lewis acid site and proton as source of bronsted site. have you check your sample using SEM-EDX, maybe your dealumination is not perfect. esp for zeolite or bentonite , you have strictly follow the procedure. Now, I am working using mesoporous zsm-5 zeoite. btw , what matter that you use for template when you made mesoporous?
