Time goes on for everyone. Also for Lena. Image processing is growing and textured images might be better sources to work with.
Who can provide the actual image of Lena to be considered as the new image benchmark for image processing algorithms?
you need a high-res scan from Playboy November 1972 journal ? =].

Thanks a lot but what I'd like to have is an actual version of Lena, not the original one.
As time goes by also for Lena, her image should now be much more textured than this one.
(I'm talking about wrinkles...)
Here you go:

this page (and the links) contains 2-3 (unfortunately small) images of Lena Soderberg from 1997 when she was invited at the IS&T conference.
thanks a lot. I'll be working on these new images, now. Image processing need to be always tuned up to the most reecnt update. ;)
hahahaha! However those pics are form 1997... I guess by now (2012) the texture became much more significant!!
This was a funny discussion =].
