Hello

I will be grateful if you help me.

I have a question about BeamColumnJoint element in OpenSEES software.

As you know this model has been made in 2003 and modified by Lowes and Mitra in 2007.

In modified model says:

1) It’s better to use compression strut theory to Simulink panelzone instead of MCFT theory.

2) modifies barslip and says Altontash's model is very strickly that consider 3mm for limite of slip, so changed it.

Now my question :

Is the model in the OpenSEES right now is on base of 2007’model or no it’s on base of primary model in 2003? Because the refrense in the site is 2003 and also in barslip material the limite of slip is 3mm.

Does the element which is in site use compression stut theory?

Are there any examples for using this element except of site’s example?

How can we define material for corners joints for side which doesn’t have beam and or column ?

Finally my goal’s using of this element to Simulink in 2D and 3D, it’s helpful if you send me an example of this element in 3D model to learn how to define nodes and etc.

Thank you so much.
