I want to start research in Computer Vision, but I do not have previous experience, What should I do? Any materials/courses/groups should I start with?
You can first start with fundamentals of image processing using a text book like Gonzales(Author)

Your question is actually very difficult one, and the I think the answer would really depend on what your interested in within CV, and your current state, as CV is quite broad and has many layers of understanding.
Maybe check out attached slides from Szeliski and Zisserman, and look around Wikipedia, coursera, video lectures, and such to get a feel for the different aspects. If your a hands on person, then maybe try going through the opencv tutorials also.
Also you want to try and build a who's who in CV, and start following some researches that you find interesting.
Once you have a feel for the different aspects then start to search around the conference proceedings/workshops/tutorials for the latest developments.
