I agree with the other colleagues, this question is not concrete enough, therefore difficult to answer. My research group is working on procedural abduction as a reasoning mechanism for self-aware and self-adaptive cyber-physical systems, This is intended to be a kind of 'domain independent intelligence', but I do not know the criteria or the measures to enumerate or qualify the 'minimality' or 'maximality' of its domain independence. It makes itself aware and fitting to the application domain or case.
