I personally tried using Google books. Type in the title of the article and search. I wonder if there is any other method.

If you go to google.com & type "scholar", ensure that you get the "english" version of "scholar", you will find the number of times your paper has been cited - this includes journal papers AND books

To Dr. Hammami: Yes, for copyright issues you can't get the complete full-text on Google books. But for a citation report Google books is enough.

To Dr. Wingerden: I just compared Google books and Google scholar and Google books gave better results. Google books was able to provide precise and specific information, e.g. the page number where my paper has been cited. While Google scholar did not list all the books that have cited my paper and it was inconvenient to separate books from papers in the search result page. Plus, Google scholar produced duplicate citations. The book "Minimizing Incisions and Maximizing Outcomes in Cataract Surgery" was counted as 2 citations in the scholar search results. I am not sure if it's a bug. I have posted the Google books link if anyone's interested to compare it with Google scholar.

Both search mode can provide details of the citation source, e.g. Title, author, date of publication, publisher, etc.

To sum up, in my situation (see my question above), I suggest using Google books.

Really I also experienced the google book is very useful one. However, I also use google scholar but not that much.

Just as a matter of interest, Xiaojian Zhong - why would one be interested in knowing which books have cited an article? Is it for funding? Any other purpose?
