Journals usually demand that the authors' identities be properly concealed to ensure a double-blind review process. Many months can pass before the editors decide whether to publish or reject the paper. Meanwhile, the author may wish to share the paper’s findings with colleagues by making it available in an open repository. This will inevitably reveal the author’s identity. So, how to reconcile the journal’s demand for anonymity and the author’s desire to openly share one’s research (which will reveal the authorship)? Any suggestions? Thanks!
