Me and my coallegues is trying to do joint research with other researcher from universities from different countries.
The area will be
IS adoptation in universities from different country,
Supply chain management around asia,
Impact of knowlege management to human resources around universities.
But i have'nt got any experience of this.
Can i have your suggestion and opinion on how to and what we suppose to prepare for international joint research, can researchgate be a bridge for it?
Dear @Dony, I think you are doing a great job by sharing research with others; the first step has to be finding the proper people who are working and interested in the areas you just mentioned. Thereafter, you can send them e-mails and talk to them. Best luck.

RG will help in bringing people together for joint research. Once identified use the standard tools such as cloud, email, Google docs, etc. for collaboration. The main initiator is to identify people who are in the common interest area and are willing to associate for the project.
The frist thing to do is to identify the experts in you fields from their papers, books and talks at international conferences. You can then appraoch them by an email. They would respond if they are interested.

It is a good idea to create joint research group of multiple universities around the world. Creation the join is easy but the managements, needs hard works and clear plan supported by strong short and long term objectives. To carry this work you need at least one- to- many sponsor for this work (example: your university or researchgate). This sponsor is to setup the rules, make the group policies and the strategies, in addition to managements. In addition this, you need high qualification researchers selected form different origination (universities) to bench and analyses the works submitted by the research group. But, the important thing is the key manager to be creative, energetic and maintain integrity.

This a good way to reach researchers I suggest that you state the topics you research in and I am sure some of us well be willing to help at least connect you with researchers in our institutions who do similar work. Good luck

For me RG has been a bridge for collaborations. I think that it may be a very good instrument, if comprtence and interest in a topic are present.
RG is a way of using social network technology to bring the proper people together.
I believe that the best way to find the right people to make a good relation with in the field of interest and start a way of communicating to achieve both of the entities the goal you want.
