We have prepared a questionare on the topic "Spices, health and lifestyle". We are planning to reease the questionare on social media platform. We want to know if the questionare needs to be approved by a review committee.
I believe that this depends on the main aim or purpose of the collected data derived from the questionnaire. If the research and data collection is intended for a formal university qualification, then most institutions insist on ethical certification, as do a number of journals. However, if this research does not fall under the mandate of a specific education institution or research organisation, where would you get approval from?

The ethics committees are generally university specific, which could occur at departmental, faculty and institutional level depending on education institution or research organisation!
