How to plot Co and cross polarization radiation pattern of CPW antenna or any microstrip antenna? How to know which plane is E or H?

I have designed a CPW antenna that feeds along the x-axis. Do we use Gainthetha and Gainphi (with primary sweep theta for phi=0, 90) or gaintotal( with primary sweep phi for theta=0,90) to plot the Radiation pattern to show Co and cross-polarization?
