I want to know how to pack superdex 200 into a column?

Is this true: if the particle size is over 20 um (the superdex 200 is ~34 um), we can put the dry particles directly into the column, and then just wash and start to use it. (?)

And if I want to move the superdex 200 prep grade gel filtration medium from one column to another one column. What should I do? How can I unpack the column?
