I am trying to model obstacles between the UE's and the eNB in NetSim's LTE library. However, all the UE's connected to an eNB have the same wireless link properties? How can we get different wireless link properties between each of the UEs and the connected eNB?
You can model obstacles between the eNB and the connected UEs, by modifying the underlying LTE code of NetSim.
This is because, in NetSim's GUI, the wireless link (between one eNB and the connected UEs) properties are same i.e. if we change in one link it reflects in all the other links of UEs connected to same eNB.
Obstacles can be modelled by adding an attenuation (in dB) value. Varying channel conditions can also be modelled by changing the pathloss exponent between the eNB and connected UEs.
