I'm working on a numerical model to study the behavior of fine soils under compaction in function of drum passes.
Is there any idea to model a cylindrical steel drum on FLAC 2D?
I tried to model the drum using structural beam element connected together; but I need to make the nodes' connections between beams to be rigid to avoid deformations in the drum.
How can we do a rigid connection in FLAC 2D between 2 beams.
