How to model a channel in matlab to characterize the waveguide?

I have designed a waveguide in CST and I have s-parameters, attenuation constant, etc. Now I want to model a channel in MatLab that can characterize the waveguide. I want to obtain SNR, BER, and channel capacity. can anyone guide me on the steps or procedure?
