How to make engineers take interest in teaching so that teaching can become a regular proffesion rather than optional proffesion

usually students of engineering are having no interest in teaching line nobody wants to become a teacher so what can we do to promote students to take interest in teaching proffesion

Some institutions allow part time engineering lecturers. In other words teachers get the benefit of both the academic and the commercial world. In my experience teaching is unattractive to young engineers who can still go out there and change the world in a direct way. But this perspective changes as engineers age or mature! The trade-off is intellectual and academic freedom vs. commercial benefit. It is a matter of personal preference with no rules.
