Hi, I have attached a sample file. It is the rainfall gridded data from India Meteorological Department (IMD). As you can see that there is missing data between the data (color) and the white line (which is the borderline/shoreline adjoining the sea and land). One of my study areas fall onto this missing area but no data.
Does anyone of you know how to interpolate it using the nearest 4 neighbors to generate the data over that missing area using CDO or GrADS?
Would appreciate your help and advice !!
I couldn't open the file. But normally to interpolate I use the QGIS software and use IDW interpolation. If you need anything you can contact me by email.
I've attached a PNG version of your file 'paradeep-imd.eps 99.61 KB' - 'EPS', ( Encapsulated PostScript ) is not a very common image format. I haven't sseen one for a long time, they were prevalent back in the 80s, and 90s ( https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/file-types/image/vector/eps-file.html#history-of-the-eps-file ).
