I am working on a project that focus on developing a new statistical procedure for analyzing epigenetic dose-response methylation data. The theoretical results have been successful, and some simulations have been carried out as well. However, I have been struggling to get a real-life dataset to confirm and test the performance of the new procedure. This question is therefore to seek your help in any of the following ways:

1. Provide me the data as described in the attached file,

2. Guide me to a website or author(s) that may likely have this kind of dataset.

For our study, we need a dose-response data in which same chemical(s) at varying dose levels were used. We define "dose" in terms of concentration and or duration of exposure to the toxic chemical(s). For instance, we may classify the exposure to the toxic chemical(s) as low, moderate, high, and very high exposure. Some examples of relevant dataset are traffic-related air pollution (TRAP), smoking exposures, heavy metal exposures, chemical exposures during pregnancy and so on. For each subject (or sample) at different exposure level, we will need data on the methylation intensities, and if available, data on demographic characteristics as well other phenotypes variables. I hope someone will have this data, know someone that has or guide me to relevant website(s) where I can have access to the data.

Furthermore, I am attaching a file that detailed the description and structure of the data needed. The example I used in the description is that of TRAP, however, the data we need is not restricted to TRAP (the data may be on smoking exposures, heavy metal exposures and so on).

NOTE: my advisor and I are happy to include anyone with relevant dataset in any publication that results from the project.

You can contact me through my [email protected] or my advisor at [email protected]. I will truly appreciate your help in this regard and look forward to hearing your positive response as soon as you can.

Thank you.
