How to generate heat maps with 'Eye tribe' eye tracker? Having difficulty in using Eye Proof for the same, which is Eye Tribe's proprietary software in beta version. It would be nice to learn if anyone has used the Eye Proof for heat map generation or is there any other freeware? Your help would be highly appreciable, I am stuck up.

OGAMA is an open source software that can be used with the eye tribe tracker. Many features are available (heatmaps, path analysis....). www.ogama.net

If non-freeware is an option for you, then you can try our tool for eye-tracking research, EventIDE (www.okazolab.com). It records EyeTribe heatmaps as data, pictures and videos and allows monitoring the maps in real-time. You can check this demo:

I have been using OGAMA to generate simple heat maps etc with The Eye Tribe. I have also been speaking to Ilia Korjoukov about using EventIDE to do similar.
I would like to add EventIDE is really a very nice option for your eye tracking studies.
It works very well with the EyeTribe eye tracker.
And now the new feature, where you can overlay EventIDE on top of an application, and perform your experiment, is also welcome addition. Right Ilia? :)
