If you know Python you can use the famous scikit-learn package (http://scikit-learn.org/stable/index.html). It provides a function called make_classification (see attached link) which can generate artificial data for classification problems according to simple parameters you specify in input (e.g., number of features, number of data points, number of classes, etc.).
