How to enable sensing model in ns2 for wsn?

Sensing model is a very complicated thing, even without speaking of implementing it in any simulator. If you are only interested in the range-confined (circular) model, it is easy to handle. Otherwise it might be better to just use a real sensor to do the job, rather than simulating the behavior.
