Manoel Campos da Silva Filho Thank you for the reply! That helped and I appreciate your work. I have two other issues in cloudsim

1. I am submitting the cloudlets from a workload file with delays. And, to balance the load. While running the simulation, I am creating new VMs using HorizontalScaling. The problem is even when we submit the cloudlets with delays, they are pre-assigned to the VMs in the initial simulation run. So that the newly created VMs are unused throughout the simulation. Please let me know which classes/methods to modify in order to submit and assign the cloudlets during the simulation.

2. The second issue is non-idle VMs (VMs with running or waiting cloudlets on them) are getting destroyed when an idle VM is destroyed or when there are cloudlets with huge delays to be submitted. (Info: there exist several incoming cloudlets with delays and I already set a setvmdestructiondelay() function to the broker. I am using scalinginstanteous () methods on VMs).

Check the examples available at https://github.com/manoelcampos/cloudsim-plus/blob/master/cloudsim-plus-examples/src/main/java/org/cloudsimplus/examples/dynamic/, for instance the DynamicCreationOfVmsAndCloudletsExample.java. It creates cloudlets during simulation runtime when one Cloudlet finishes. You can use any CloudSim Plus listener for that. Another option is to use the the onClockTickListener to create VMs and Cloudlets at specific times.
