The wave velocity changes a lot due to variation in relative permittivity of saline water. Besides, the loss factor has to be predicted with precision. Finally, SNR has to be calculated with received signal power and total noise power. The noise power will have two components - from other links and circuit generated noise.

In your code,mention the units associated with each parameter.you have calculated TL in nepers but added like TL in Db and converted again to nepers which I feel the reason for infinite source level
