I am generating data to conduct transient stability analysis in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and wish to calculate the rotor angle (firel) for all generators in the system. The first attached screenshot shows how powerfactory represents these angles which is intuitively in the range of [-180, 180] degrees. However, what I want to represent is the cumulative angle change or the displacement for each generator so I can see how many cycles ahead of behind the reference each generator is, hence the y axis wont be bounded by 180 and -180. What I want to achieve is illustrated in the second attached screenshot. I note that when powerfactory calculates 'out of step' for a generator it uses 360 degrees difference as the criteria which comes from the 'firel' variable so powerfactory is using the representation of the data I am looking for I just cant work out how to generate it. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
