My article got citation in Google Scholar, but it is not showing in Research Gate. My question is how to add citations to the articles?

I think it will be added automatically. It is just a matter of time.
RG's database is different from Google Scholar's database thus, it cannot be added here on RG.
Both are different research platforms and therefore the citation index is not the same.
Thanks for your responses. I would like to add one thing. I know google scholar and RG both are different, that is separate issue. As a researcher, I think everybody would get benefited, if he/she gets citation from anywhere. It would boost their confidence. RG platform should be designed in a way that our articles would get citations automatically. It should be linked with Google scholar. What do you think? Please suggest your comments.

Per different citation indexes and platforms, citations are added automatically on RG , Google Scholar and so on once an article is uploaded with the correct DOI and in some cases mentions
Importantly, ensure the data of your reference like the data on the RG. Also, the research that are cited from your work are exist in the RG.
It will be added automatically. The same situation occurred with me.
