my students before conducted a research at the Manila Youth Reception Center to understand their developmental needs and respond to this by providing life skills seminar so that one day they may go back to society with a healthy mindset at at Manila Central University . We visited the reception center several times to interview and conduct psychological testing. Then we also gave seminars.

The difficulty is probably to reach the groups to get valid research results. For the first time I work with some students on a volunteer basis with young people in pre-trial detention in Germany. The young people should develop free, artistic posters on violence. It remains to be seen how the project will develop, as there is a high turnover in pre-trial detention and long-term cooperation is not possible. If, however, a longer-term cooperation arises from this, it would be interesting to generate research results based on observations, questionnaires and interviews.

Yes I agree - follow up of interventions once young people leave facilities is a key factor in research programmes. We have developed the idea of an 'enduring presence' as a key person who mentors the young person in their journey through the system and then into the community - see our postings on PARTH here. our project on Researchgate.

As a new researcher in the field, I have did many years of applied field work in the areas of building partnerships within Presenting lectures, seminars and dialogues with the aim of developing the culture of society and practicing the enlightenment role of the university and thus helping marginalized groups. These partnerships have served to help build bridges in many ways, while serving the community needs, environments, families, schools and school districts. Obama stated that the only way to help our societies is to build civil communities. I believe this is the area that warrants the greatest chance of rebuilding our schools, communities and society.

That is my area of expertise, as I have had the opportunity to work in under-served areas of our city, and reach out to the children and families by offering empowerment and enrichment programs.
