That's a broad question, and it can refer to any subject matter. To be an acknowledged "expert" takes time, yes, but it also takes accomplishments that have been recognized by others. And one more thing. Maybe this is unfair, but it also takes being "old enough." People won't take you terribly seriously, in professions, until you're at least 30 years old. I mean, even if you know what you're talking about. C'est la vie.
Indeed, this question can refer to any subject matter and the answer depends on your background and your motivation. It is important to provide some remarkable results.
To be an expert, you have to get the knowledge and.skills required in the discipline. You also have to practise communication, write papers, conduct research, attend.conferences and belong to professional societies. You need time to do all this.
Hafida, you asked a good question and one subject to many answers, as you've seen here. The label 'expert' is used abundantly, and often abused, in our field. Such 'experts' often do more damage than good. That said, the combination of (1) a full and thorough knowledge of the theories in your field (and there are lots as you are most likely learning), (2) understanding the body of knowledge (different from theories) in your field, and (3) experience, experience, and more experience will put you on the path to becoming an expert in communication.
Hi, In my opinion,The more you learn things in your subject, the better you will be. it is also depends on person abilities for understanding different issues in specific field.
