The concept of the finite universe or an universe limited in apace and time is due to the limitation of any epistemology based on causality for which there has to be a first cause of a beginning. Idealized mathematics promoted by the Platonists and the rationalists is the epitome of causality based epistemology and cosmology.

Albert Einstein adopted Platonic mathematical idealism in modern physics after the breakdown of causality with the discovery of the revolutionary quantum phenomena. But mathematics is helpless to deal with the concept of the Infinite as Cantor found out. Einstein’s theories of relativity, specially GR that is the basis of modern official cosmology, necessarily started with the presupposition that the universe must be finite; but this is a wishful thinking just for the convenience of his mathematical approach to epistemology and cosmology!

Just as in the past the earth was believed to be flat, with limits or infinite and the problem was solved by curving 2 dimensions through a 3 dimension to have a sphere.

If the 3-dimensional universe is curved through a 4 dimension you will have a hypersphere. The limits in the 3 dimensions are resolved.

The 4 dimension, the one that makes hyper-radio, many people defend that it is the Time (but although the outer limit is well defined, but it is created as the present advances and at the same time the universe expands). The inner limit It needs a moment of "creation" that fits our concept of the Big Bang rather well but fails to explain how and why dimensions are created.

The Universe is not infinite, in any way; but it is large enough and has a long enough future that although no matter how big it gets or how long we wait for it to get that big it will still be infinitely small compared to a truly infinite object, it is big enough that most people probably can't imagine any difference between even its current size (which is much smaller than it will be in just a few billion years) and infinity.

- In my book I postulated that "speed of light is increased equally in all frames of reference" thus speed of light be the same in all frames of reference.

Unlimitedness of Universe is free imagination of human mind. It lead to many conundrums in the physics. The opposite meaning, space and gravity field of Universe is synonyms, allow to solve all questions. Therefore size of Universe is limited by its gravity field. NASA's Parker Solar Probe will become the fastest spacecraft ever build and is said to reach a speed of 192 km per second. To reach the nearest star, Alpha Centauri, with such speed it would still take more than 6600 years... now think about those optimists wanting to colonize our own "little" galaxy with a diameter of "only" 100000 light-years... and then think of your question !

Contrary to what several celebrity physicists often babble about...there will never be a technology allowing us to travel even at only half the speed of light... not to mention faster than light travel... but wait and see how many arguments will go against my words ! People like to believe in their dreams...

Obviously, deep space exploration will continue with increasingly sophisticated instrumentation from observation locations on Earth and in our solar system. Currently, human interstellar travel, even more so intergalactic travel, belongs only to science fiction!

if we can establish that gravity is quantised .there is no need for infinity or its reciprocal the infinity division Is it possible for example that the existence we are in is a great deal simpler than we are instead of the the more complicated version we think it is at the moment. We think that variables such as Pi and E are finally tuned but in fact they exits as irrational numbers in our parent universe as well and are only needed to finite accuracy to model our universe if gravity is shown to be quantised.
