we were aware of generic layered architecture of wireless networks. Since IoT is emerging topic in current research. how this generic layered approach is related to IoT ?
If you're referring to the 7-layer ISO/OSI model, I would think that as a general structure, that applies to IoT as it does to anything else. Some people assume that the layers have to be meticulously addressed by the protocol stack, but they usually are not, other than the lower four. Since IoT implies use of IP, the basic layering will look much like it does in all IP communications.
