How does one obtain the corrected % efficiency curve for hydrocyclone classifier in minerals processing?

I have generated some separation efficiency curves for some hydrocyclone project that I have been working. However, I am failing to understand how this curve is corrected. Is the model used for correcting obtaining the corrected curve?

Lastly when doing the % efficiency the (imperfection) calculation some of the answers report over 100%, does that have a significant meaning in the classification process?
