I am an undergraduate student currently working on a group mini-dissertation. (forgive me for the rudimentary knowledge I have) We're studying the co-relation between peoples' attitudes toward the environment and their actual day-to-day behavior towards the environment. We plan on using the 7 point Likert scale (Agreement scale for attitude and frequency scale for behavior). How would I go about analyzing this data, considering it is a co-relational study and how would I compare the two different tests i.e attitude and behavior?

Scores can be used in almost any type of analysis, whether correlations or tests of differences or whatever. But for a correlation you need TWO scores for each person, one from your attitude scale and one from a measure of the actual behavior.
