I have prepared hydroxyapatite nano-powder. Now, it is desired to achieve a solid disk or chip of hydroxyapatite from the prepared powder.
Does anyone have experience about binding HAP nanopowder with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)?
I want to use high pressure as used in making FTIR tablet along with PVA to obtain tablet and then using thermal treatment.

If too solid, or too dense, is it good for vascular and nutrient transport? But too porous, it will sacrifice the mechanical strength. I guess, to make your question clearer, you are asking about the processing method?
