I do not know if this is the right forum to ask, but I try to compute Dimitrovs spectral fatigue index in python using a pre-written script to compute mean power frequency. As these two are mathematically similiar using different spectral moments, I thougth I could use the same script changing the moments. Does anybody have experience computing FInms5 and could provide me help?
Attached there is the python script with the mean frequency function and a trial of using it to compute FInms5 giving me an array with inf values
FInms5 index is calculated using the 5th spectral moment, which is defined as:
FInms5 = (1/N) * ∑(f^5 * P(f))

Isn't it FInms5 = ∑(f^-1 * P(f)) / ∑(f^5 * P(f))? That's at least what I read. And what is N in your calculation?
