Generally, to cite an academic document, there are a lot of writing style for different academic fields (e.g. APA, MLA, ISO 690, BibTex, and others). However, some documents that only have a generated DOI on ResearchGate, for instance technical report, article (data) and poster, seem worthy of scholarly citation but have not a full reference to cite it in a suitable way. How best should a person go about citing a document from a ResearchGate publication in an academic paper he or she is writing? DOI is not sufficient for writing a full reference. How do we download an appropriate and a complete reference to cite such paper only exists in ResearchGate (do not exist in Google Scholar)?

I guess if we discuss the author and circumstances of the document it is okay. In the extreme case, I support your comment. If available, one can provide the URL where the document is archived.

I think you have an obligation to provide the source of information.
If the paper has been published in a journal, give the journal citation and add "Retrieved from_______" with the ResearchGate URL.

Based on the APA manual guideline (6th ed.), you can also look at these samples as following:

I think the best approach is to use web link as citation. In reference section, we have an option "Document from Web". Apparently, this is an ideal approach because here you not only refer to a website but also mention all the relevant and available information e.g. DOI, authors name, date of access, web link etc.

I guess in the case where the reference is deleted, nos réponse do not fundamentally solve the problem; unless the material is still available all of the time on the web and should not be deleted for any reason.
This is unfortunately true because authors can edit and delete the material (document) at any time. This is problematic for citations from a ResearchGate thread, unless there is a way to archive and make permanent a document made within a thread.
Dear, extract the details of the authours and the Journal that published the paper and make your citation based on the style you are using and acknowledge the authours at the end in the reference section appropriately.

In my opinion, this article could never carry a DOI since it is deposited on google scholar and which carries a unique bibliographic reference.
In short, if you use Latex, you can quote the article using its following reference (obviously from google scholar: https://scholar.google.fr/scholar?hl=fr&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=Impact+of+Information+Technology+and+Internet+in+Businesses&btnG=)

The easiest way is, to copy from the title or a portion of article or abstract. Open google scholar and paste it on the search bar. Google Scholar :
On results page there will be a table with options like (e.g. APA, MLA, ISO 690, BibTex, and others)
Copy either MLA or APA or any other of your requirement and paste on the bottom of your document under the head "References:" and cite after your quoted sentence with a bracket (Surname / Second name of the person , year)
