Research fatigue is a state of psychological and emotional exhaustion both towards and as a result of research participation. Our farmers are tired of being researched. In Ghana for instance, our farmers are very reluctant or unwilling to respond to survey questions which makes data collection difficult for researchers. In most cases, farmers have to be "motivated" or "refreshed" before participation. Research fatigue if not properly addressed could affect the quality of data and smooth conduct of research in general.

I ask, how do we deal with research fatigue among farmers?
