From the crystal packing, how do we identify the bravais lattice group for the structure? Is there any suggestion for reading materials that explain the concept?
Which means I need to observe the molecules coordination in a unit cell? If my molecule has 20 atoms, I need to see if the translation vector present than?
For the simplest way of visualizing the lattice type (for beginner's in crystallography) you can omit all but one of the atoms in the CIF. Now if you visualize the structure in softwares such as Mercury or Diamond, it is easy to appreciate the lattice type. F and I lattice types made of molecular moieties(eg paracetamol), could be imagined such a way that each atom of the molecule forms F or I lattice types. P anyway is quite primitive to imagine !
