Multiplexing in OFDM is supported by the orthogonality. Orthogonality allows overlap of the adjacent channels and use of multiple carriers. Orthogonality is maintained during channel transmission by adding a cyclic prefix to the OFDM frame. Further, data steams are subdivided to blocks which are transmitted through multiple channels. This facilitates multiplexing which can be done in Matlab.
