I need to generate LTE or LTE-A TDD waveforms and want to able to modify the parameters like bandwith or frame types etc. How can we achieve it in MATLAB (or any other tool)?

You can Try Vienna Simulator, it is a very comprehensive MATLAB-based LTE Simulator.
There is a LTE library (toolBox) in MATLAB 2014
