Hi, I want to calculate LTE uplink capacity. Is there a formula for it? What role does Eb/No play in determing this capacity?
Channel capacity, in general = Bandwidth*log2(1+S/N)
Eb/No is related to SNR (or S/N in the formula). See Wikipedia for details : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eb/N0
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eb/N0
Thank you so much for your response, Syed. I will like to know also if there is a threshold Eb/No value for accurate signal detection. Cheers.
Is there an Eb/No requirement for LTE uplink? How do I use this to calculate the peak capacity of the uplink?
