Thanks for your comment. I would like to introduce mobile app as the solution of the problem because around 45% people around the world use smart phone. And it is evident that the number has been increasing day by day. I would say that people have more smart phone than the number of latrine they use! Another significant point is you can contact with reasonable number of nearest physician through app as like uber. Problem would be internet connection especially in remote areas of developing countries. But, hoping that, internet providers would be trying to cover these territories.

iPhone just introduced the apps, where all the information such as emergency hospital notification etc is already stored, but it will take time to provide them first aid facility to the driver. In German Autobahn (No speed Limit road), they monitor and provide help through chopper, while controlling the road through indicator. again in developed country its possible, but in under developing that's a hot topic to suggest and analyze the patient response. wish you luck with research article.

The US has a similar private service call OnStar. It is built into the vehicle and senses the crash, a human operator calls the driver asking if they need help. The driver can also just push a button for emergency help, or other help, like directions. I think this maybe a better approach because OnStart senses the crash, whereas a cell phone may not.

A cell phone app would be good for many people that don't drive, or don't have a properly equipped vehicle, like bicycles. I don't know if a cell phone could sense slower speed crashes, or hit pedestrians unless it has some sort of accelerometer, and even that may not be sensitive enough in some cases.

As for people calling in, the US has a 911 phone number that is used in every community in the US to connect to emergency services.

I want to appreciate your concern. While App is a good basis for real time intervention, it may not be a good tool for crash reduction but can be of great help for rescue purpose. in this regard, people are to be informed on who to call and via which link. But for crash reduction, intensified campaign as well as strict compliance to certain driving rules are key to achieving a level of success. this is because, a great number of crashes is caused by human behavioural factors.

Marfuj, driving and cycling (both powered and pedal) are arguably the most complex physical activities most civilians are every likely to be allowed to perform. Because vehicular transport is universally (across the globe anyway) familiar, it’s difficulty is usually unrecognised or dismissed - at least until things go wrong. The most usual “wrong thing” is a distracted driver, either through inexperience, fatigue, intoxicants or, increasingly, mobile devices which are hand held or vehicle installed.

To suggest one may use mobile technology to mitigate hazards caused by, erm, mobile technology appears to be a fundamental “non sequitur”.

Perhaps you might consider an app that tests the potential driver for alcohol or drugs intoxication, measures their level of alertness and driving experience and having decided the driver is fit/well/alert disables all further technology before allowing the vehicle to be started?
