Dear all,
I want to have metrics from Radio Access Network (RAN) 4G or 5G in the Multi access Edge Computing server, which should be near to the base station. I will use that information in an virtual network function deployed in the MEC server.
How can MEC get information from eNB/gNB?

You can use OpenAirInterface-5G (OAI) with a Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) to implement a Radio Access Network along to virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC).
I have detailed the architecture of a working prototype using this and complemented it to generate real-time metrics in the following paper.
