Could you please recommend a book or a detailed report that explains how to use meta-heuristics algorithms to find the roots of a system of nonlinear equations?
Suppose you have to nonlinear equations as follows:
x^2+y^2=1 and x^3+x*y=2
Then write the objective function as
f=(x^2+y^2-1)^2+(x^3+x*y-2)^2
This function has the minimum value 0. The values of (x,y) which gives this minimum value is the required solution of the nonlinear system.

Thank you Dr. Rajesh for the useful information, I got the point. I have another question please. Some papers used some benchmark functions (like Colville, Schaffer, Griewank . etc) to test the performance of the algorithm, could you please advice how and where shall I use them?

The papers are very important and I am sure I'll benefit from them. I searched google for this topic but unfortunately I couldn't get a detailed report that explains a full example. I read many papers and the used to concentrate on the meta-heuristics part not on the problem itself. Do you have an idea if can get a video lecture about this topic? or a book that talks about it?

These functions become your fitness functions. You have to apply your algorithm on each function one by one and see the result.

I already read many papers in this field, and I got the main concept of the domain, but now I have some problems in coding.
I hope that anyone can provide me a source code in any language for any metaheuristic algorithm so I can get more understanding.
