I'm now purifying a modified tripeptide which is quiet non-polar and sensitive to acidic condition. Thus I added triethylamine (TEA) to neutralize the HPLC fraction which contains 0.1% TFA and lyophilize them. But I could not get rid of the residual liquid by lyophilization, I believe it would be the TEA-TFA salt. I was thinking to use a SEC C18 (like waters SEP-PAK C18) column to desalt my sample. If there is any other practical way for me to remove TEA-TFA salt from my sample?

Thank you for your kind help.
