I have a greenhouse experiment in which I need to grow my seedlings in a phosphorus-free soil. How can I remove P through using acid washing. I will use large quantities of sandy soil ?
You can wash the sand in a concrete mixer until the water is clean. You can also, if you have enough, soak the sand in an acid solution using a concrete mixer.
The idea here is to remove the available P. I found that it can be eliminated via acid washing, but I did not find how can I do it for +/- quite amount of soil which I will use for my greenhouse experiment?
