I use glass substrate to form a PDMS film(45:1). When I tried to peel PDMS film, it always broke and part of PDMS film remained on the glass. How can I get the complete PDMS film ?Please Advise. Thank you.
Have you tried silanization of your glass or putting any other adhesion reduction layer onto the substrate? Just out of curiosity, is the PDMS at this mixing ration properly cured?
Maybe check: Thangawng, A.L., Ruoff, R.S., Swartz, M.A. et al. An ultra-thin PDMS membrane as a bio/micro–nano interface: fabrication and characterization. Biomed Microdevices 9, 587–595 (2007). https://doi.org/10.1007/s10544-007-9070-6
I like to use a PVA mold release as an intermediate layer between the substrate and the PDMS film. I typically do this on Si wafers, but it should work just fine on glass as well. Once the film is cured, float the film off of the substrate in warm water.
