priority of data delivery applied to MAC protocols to save energy in WSNs, i want to know how can i do this and if i can apply it in mac protocol as S-MAC.

Firstly you should decide what data type you are used in your work, and then what do you mean save energy with data priority (Text, image, sound, etc..)?
Here you are dealing with payload field, in another word, Mac layer frame(payload field) and as known S-MAC use technique to reduce energy consumption called (message passing) through reducing contention latency for sensor-network applications that require store-and-forward processing as data move through the network. so please give us more explanation about your question to make your question more clear.

dr. Ameer, my network is an environmental monitoring network for temp., pressure, radiation, .......etc. i want to apply priority to achieve QoS in design of MAC protocol through saving more energy.
