before galvanizing the wire a strong acid in this instance HCl is used to pickle impurities from the wire surface,the wire is then washed in a bath of water to remove the acid stuck on the surface thus rising the chlorine content in the effluent water  which exceeds the municipality limit,what method can be used to remove the excess chlorine
