Hi, I'm looking for data for tree species from temperate European ecosystems: growth (height and DBH vs. age), as well as mortality/survival rates vs. time.
Where can I get them from? If you have any leads or ideas
Review of literature is the option to collect information over multiple parameters but required a lot of time. It may be possible the data is available with some research agencies or institutions.
It is not my direct field of research, but I am sure that the Scion research institute in Rotorua, New Zealand would be able to help you, especially with respect to introduced Pinus Radiata and other trees. They used to be called the Forest Research Institute. The climate in NZ is mainly cool-temperate to sub-tropica north of Auckland, and Pinus Radiata grows faster in NZ than anywhere, I understand. Hope this helps
