I am not familiar with such compounds but such behaviour has been observed by one of my coworkers in azophenine derivatives with bulky substituent (allowing a weak emission to be observed) Hu Lei, Adam Langlois, Daniel Fortin, Paul-Ludovic Karsenti, Shawkat M. Aly and Pierre D. Harvey Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 2017,19, 21532-21539. Also if your substituents extend the conjugation of your system the emission of the thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine maybe red shifted enough to be observed in the visible (of course if such emission exists).
