It seems from the term "UDF" that you are using either Fluent or Ansys. I am not sure though how to do it in them using UDF, but I remember you can add a "constant" source term ( e.g. heat source ) to the fluid after checking the energy equation option in Fluent ( Double click on your fluid region snd then add source, similar to what you do for a solid ).
