Has anybody used sihler's technique to study intramuscular nerve patterns?

I am planning to do a project based on it. Will it be really useful in clinical surgery?

Sihler's stain takes 3-4 months to get the final intramuscular distribution of nerve. Other factor which you should think is, what method to use to describe the topographic distribution of the nerve as it is a 3 D relationship with muscle which you want to study.Clinical usage will depend on which muscle- nerve you are studying.
